10.07.2014 The Fashion District. Via della Spiga and Via Sant'Andrea Streets

The Fashion District. Via della Spiga and via Sant'Andrea.

From via Montenapoleone we are passing to the no less famous via della Spiga.

This pedestrian street is to my mind the most elegant and aristocratic within the Fashion Square (Quadrilatero) – There is no hustle and bustle here (well, except for the sale period), everything is arranged in a dignified and proper manner. One can quietly walk, contemplating the fantastic shop-windows (and each display is a masterpiece of itself), of such luxury brands as:
Hermes.  Oh, that “Kelly" or "Birkin bag from Hermes is coveted by women the world over and Italian women are no exception as well. I promise to write a special post devoted to “bags “ preferences of Milano fashion-conscious woman.

Dolce&Gabbana.  The Boutique comprised of 1,000 square meters of Mediterranean charm.  Predominance of black colour and huge crystal chandeliers create an atmosphere of exclusive luxury and chic, the latest Dolce & Gabbana collection, which you’ ve seen on the pages of fashion magazines will be found right here.

Tiffany  - do you remember " Breakfast at Tiffany's" with Audrey Hepburn? So, that is precisely about this brand. It is very popular with the Milanese on Christmas Eve and before St. Valentine's Day, when long queues stretch here:  to receive "Tiffany" earrings or pendant as a gift is the dearest wish of any Italian woman.
Roberto Cavalli.  Roberto Cavalli brand has moved from the Via della Spiga street to Via Montenapoleone, 6  - here the designer has opened his largest boutique in the world: 1500 sq. m., 5 floors, one of which has a tailoring shop where you can order custom tailoring and another floor is completely dedicated to the collection of Roberto Cavalli Home.
I would also like to mention the Sant'Andrea street (via Sant Andrea): here you will find Chanel boutique, which in all respects is in accordance with the motto of the great Coco Chanel: " Fashion fades, only style remains the same ". Everything from boucle jacket to hand backs 2.55 in this boutique is stylish, unique and recognizable.
Jimmy Choo – the paradise of the world's best shoes, recall Carrie Bradshaw from "Sex and the City".

Banner – a show-window of the new talents and newcomer designers. It is worth a drop in even just to discern the fashion trends of the future seasons.
